As long as you allow unsecured debt, you allow lending that is irresponsible.
People who get into debt CAN’T THINK. I’ve done extensive research in this area- lived with, and broken bread, with people with the most obtuse problems in the world. They are both rich and poor btw.
The problem is not IMPULSE – it is the INABILITY to obey it.
This is a pretty important finding because it strikes at the heart of psychology and openly challenges it.
We based education and child policy on one research based on five kids who we fed a plate of marshmallows to. A child’s requirement is to grow – natural sugar makes a child’s body grow – so the impulse was correct. What was wrong was the experiment (unethical) the sugar (if it was refined:) and the conclusions.
D’Souza Consulting takes on a totally opposing view to current thinking on human and animal behaviour (the two respond to stimuli identically – they both seek growth – not just to embrace pleasure and avoid pain). Our observations suggest that “in IMPULSE we find TRUTH and thus, avoiding impulse is not just avoiding TRUTH, it’s also avoiding the rich LEARNING that comes from it.
